BLS INSTRUCTOR

Phyllis Angels Training Center is an authorized Training Site with the American Heart Association.

 This course will be conducted in person. 

Prerequisites:

• AHA BLS Provider Certification (not expired)
• AHA BLS Instructor Essentials Completion Certificate

 What to expect: 

 First, We will cover the  instructional method of the course,  the second portion of the class you will have to be monitored teaching a section of the course.

Being an American Heart Association (AHA) CPR instructor allows great flexibility and independence for individuals looking to create their own income. Additionally, for many corporations it makes good financial sense to have an in house CPR instructor that can certify their staff in CPR and First Aid when needed.

In the American Heart Association (AHA) instructor course you will learn how to teach individuals in all fields how to perform either basic life support (BLS) or Heartsaver CPR & First Aid

Phyllis Angels Training offers the most comprehensive and up-to-date CPR training approved by the American Heart Association.

BLS Instructor Essentials Online is the self-directed, online portion of the BLS Instructor Essentials blended learning course. Course content covers steps for becoming an AHA Instructor and steps of the instruction cycle:  Prepare, Teach, Test & Remediate, Close, and Keep Current. This course includes core information about instructing AHA BLS Provider courses, followed by course-specific information.
