Course Overview:
This in-person course prepares you to become an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Instructor. Whether you're looking to build a flexible income or certify your organization's staff in-house, this course equips you with the knowledge and confidence to teach life-saving skills in CPR and First Aid.

• Instructional methods for teaching BLS and Heartsaver courses
   
• How to effectively teach, test, and provide feedback to students
   
• Real-time practice: You’ll be observed teaching a portion of the class as part of your evaluation
   
• Insights into the AHA Instructor Cycle: Prepare, Teach, Test & Remediate, Close, and Keep Current
   

Schedule:

This is a 1.5-day course.

• Day 1:   Will be didactic and instructional method.
   
• Day 2: You will be required to teach a segment of a BLS provider course in person. This will serve as your hands-on monitoring session.
   

Please bring someone with you to act as your student during the teaching portion. The exact date for Day 2 will be confirmed during the first  session and scheduled at your convenience.

CPR INSTRUCTOR FEE: $500.00

All registered candidates will receive a Welcome Letter before the end of the day upon registration.
